Hi Everyone
We have the pantry raid today at 3pm.
Delivering Food to the Food Bank:
MONDAY 14th, this Monday 3.30pm at the church.
If you can’t make it to the pantry raid you can still come along to help take the food we have collected
down to the food bank. Someone from Presbyterian Support will be there to meet us and we will be able to
stack the shelves with the food we have brought. I am happy to pick up children from school for parents
who are working and can’t make that time. So let me know if you would like me to do this. It would be good
to have as many children as possible come with us so they get an idea of how the foodbank works. This has
been our focus at Kids @ all term and the children have been great at taking this theme on board.
A Resource Parenting Today:
This is a booklet put out by the national church and it aims to be a catalyst for rethinking what it means to be a “better
parent” a “good parent” and a “Christian Parent”. We have some available at church free for you to take away.
Who’s On Kids @ This Week:
Susan and Leann will take the younger group.
Mark will take the older Group.
Library
We have some great new books in the library for children and adults. Celia and Beth will be reading some of the
children’s ones for the children at morning tea time tommorrow. Check them out.
